Job DescriptionBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Worksis seekingExperienced Engineering Technician Support Tech (Level 3)to join our team in Berkeley, MO. Phantom Works is Boeing Defense’s advanced design division that designs, builds, and tests the future capabilities for our Nation’s defense. The Phantom Works’ portfolio has grown significantly over the past few years, and we need to grow our team to solve some of the toughest challenges. This position is part of the Phantom Works Fixed Wing Prototype & Test organization supporting multiple proprietary programs. The Engineering Technician Support Tech will be responsible for maintaining and improving Low Observable (LO) Engineering data products (e.g., engineering data, spreadsheets, websites, and documentation), processes and services to ensure consistent quality of data used to accomplish LO engineering tasks. The Engineering Technical Support Tech will also create and maintain design documentation by using company/industry standards to communicate the end product to customers. The Engineering Technical Support Tech will also develop and maintain engineering related user documentation to support the design of engineering systems. Position ResponsibilitiesHelp the LO team leads organization and document the LO teams work tasking, organize and summarize work meeting Support LO personnel documentation of LO designs, fabrication, and testing of prototypes and aircraft parts and systems, including suppliers Document and disseminate low observable data, results, and status to project stakeholders Support LO efforts to create and edit cutting-edge low observable technological specifications, procedures, and reports Assist with the documentation of cutting-edge low observable technologies testing and test data Participate in weekly configuration development activities This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance Basic QualificationsAssociate's degree and 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Experience with data analytics Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Aircraft Design and/or Low Observable Design, 3D modeling experience such as NX or similar Typical Education & ExperienceEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor +1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
