Bath based Hybrid working Full time, Permanent We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join a busy and supportive team in Bath. This role is idea for someone with office or administrative experience who is looking to move into the legal sector and build a long-term career as a Legal Assistant. Please note: this role is not designed as a route to a solicitor training contract - it is best suited to canidates who are looking to grow and stay win a Legal Assistant role. The Role As a Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to fee earners and help team run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a varied administritive workload. Handling phone calls, emails, post, and client correspondence. Preparing and formatting documents. Maintaining accurate records and updating systems. Assisting with case-related tasks such as organising meetings, processing forms, and liaising with third parties. Supportings with general team administration, diary management, and file organisation. What we're looking for. Previous experience in an office-based role (any sector) Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Confidence using Microsoft office and other IT systems. A professional and reliable approach, with strong attention to detail.
