About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to work within our Bath and North East Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service. As a Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing difficulties from drug and alcohol usage.You will be involved in opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications. Additionally, you will provide support to the nursing team by offering Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, and collaborate with mental health, physical health, and social care services.Key ResponsibilitiesPrescribe medications to patients requiring opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.Provide support to the nursing team through Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations.Collaborate with mental health, physical health, and social care services to ensure comprehensive care for patients.What We OfferWe pride ourselves on providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values employee growth and development.
