Job Description We are seeking an experienced Reconciliations, Banking & Corporate Actions Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reconciliations, Banking, and Corporate Actions teams. This role is key to successfully delivering our clients business model.Youll be focused on maximising the working relationship between the business and our clients/third parties.The role holder must be able to assimilate the complexity of the business proposition and have a sound understanding of the regulatory framework required to run the teams.Tell Me MoreStart Date: ASAPDuration: Permanent Salary: 56,500 paLocation: Hybrid/Bath (2 days min)Your day-to-day activities will include:Daily internal and external client money reconciliations & investigationRegulatory returns & claims, nominee and Investment Manager payment processingManage the end-to-end cheque processing and bankingProcess and monitor corporate actions and administer distribution processing.Calculate and process cash interest processing.Manage the teams to achieve effective workflows, contributing towards an efficient execution of responsibilities.Work with the departmental management teams to maintain a collaborative approach in achieving the departmental service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)Responsible for Team Leader development through structured one-to-one sessions, appraisals and individual training and development plansRemain up to date on all relevant external regulatory requirements and internal processes to ensure that all team procedures remain accurate and approvedHandle any escalated enquiries and complaints, liaising with the appropriate colleagues to achieve resolutionDemonstrate flexibility during periods of high workloads and aid other services when requiredSupport the business with user acceptance testing and disaster recovery cycles, as directedAchieve and actively maintain own skills and knowledge to adhere to the Training and Competency frameworkEnsure that the risk management process is promoted, supported, managed, and implemented effectively within the team. Liaise with the Risk Team to help identify and manage risk effectivelyWorking with the team and other Line Managers to define, manage and continually improve the team and business processesCoach and inspire to develop staff so that they can grow in line with aspirations of the businessInvolvement in recruitment activities as directedYou will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities that fall within your capabilities as directed by managementWhat Knowledge, Skills & Experience We NeedStrong CASS knowledge, in particular CASS 6 and 7Experience working within a wrap platform/investment company or similar role.Good understanding of investments, investment products and wrap platformsProven previous management experienceExcellent drive displayed, with the ability to work unsupervised and under own initiativeExcellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and to tight deadlinesIn depth financial services experienceJBRP1_UKTJ
