Senior EstimatorWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a growing regional main contractor based in Fleet. The privately owned business has been operating across several sectors including mixed-use residential, care homes, industrial and stadiums valuing typically up to £80mil. Projects are typically within the South of England.About the role of Senior Estimator: As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the whole tender process, collaborating with the other members of the pre-construction team. You will report into the Construction Director and will be involved in mentoring junior members of staff.Key Responsibilities as Senior Estimator: Review tender documents and ascertain suitability for the projectWork from first principlesManage the whole tender processBe involved in cost planning and work through 2nd stageWork collaboratively with the bid team to ensure tenders are presentableKey requirements for this Senior Estimator position: MUST have experience working as Estimator within a main contractorProven track record of successfully securing tenders valuing up to £50mil.Experience with single and two stage tendersLive within a commutable distance to Fleet and be happy to commute to office / site on a regular basisFull right to work in the UKThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business in a state of sustained growth, with a fantastic reputation in the market.
