Solution Architect (SC Eligible)

My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Transformations & NextGen AI Solutions, with offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow (providing a remote first or hybrid working policy with ad hoc client site travel when required). Clients include Government, Finance, Retail & other private sectors.We are looking for multiple Solution Architect's to join a rapidly growly team, who possess strong multi-cloud expertise and experience delivering complex digital solutions, ideally within central government or other regulated environments.We have a top end budget of £80k + disc bonus + flexi working (option of remote or hybrid + ad hic client site travel).Must have requirements;Lead solution architecture design across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Define and own end-to-end solution designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical strategy, and GDS service standards.Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Developers, and Security teams to deliver well-architected solutions.Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical designs.Provide architectural governance, assurance, and design review throughout the delivery lifecycle.Ensure compliance with government security, data handling, and accessibility requirements.Produce architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, roadmaps, and technical documentation.Primary skills & experience required:Proven track record as a Solution Architect in complex, multi-vendor environments.Hands-on experience designing solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures.Knowledge of Terraform, IaC, DevOps pipelines, and automation.Experience working within UK government projects (or other regulated environments).Familiarity with GDS principles, service assessments, and accessibility standards.Candidates must be eligible or already hold active SC Clearance - please note, visa sponsorship is not available
