Building Services ManagerAn established Tier 1 main contractor, known for delivering high-quality residential and regeneration projects across the South East, is looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to oversee MEP delivery across multiple live and upcoming schemes. With a strong reputation for community-driven development and long-term public sector partnerships, the business delivers large-scale housing and mixed-use schemes ranging from £30 million to £50 million in value.The role is ideal for a technically strong, well-organised building services professional who can manage multiple projects at different stages, while being based within commuting distance of Basingstoke.The RoleAs Building Services Manager, you will take responsibility for MEP coordination and technical delivery across multiple residential schemes, supporting project teams from early design through to commissioning and handover. This is a regional role involving a blend of site visits, head office time, and remote working, depending on project needs.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the technical performance of MEP packages across multiple residential developmentsWork with internal teams and external consultants to manage MEP design and coordination through all RIBA stagesReview and approve technical drawings, specifications, and contractor submittalsProvide input during procurement, scoping MEP packages and assisting with technical evaluationsSupport site teams during installation phases to ensure quality, programme compliance, and regulatory adherenceDrive commissioning strategies and ensure successful handovers across schemesLead risk reviews, coordination workshops, and compliance planningAct as a key interface with clients, design teams, and supply chain partnersAbout YouBackground in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (Degree, HND, or equivalent)Proven experience managing building services on residential, regeneration, or mixed-use projectsComfortable working across multiple schemes at different stages of developmentStrong knowledge of UK building regs, SAP/SBEM, NHBC/LABC requirements, and modern sustainable design standardsExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyIdeally based within 45 minutes of Basingstoke.What’s on OfferHybrid workingOpportunity to work on meaningful residential projects that shape local communitiesA long-term role with excellent development and progression prospectsJoin a contractor known for quality, stability, and a people-first cultureReady to take on a regional leadership role in MEP delivery?
