Job Description Morson Edge are working with a well known contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Ground Investigation/Infrastructure division.Role - Quantity SurveyorLocation(s) - Basingstoke/MaidstoneSalary - 50k + car allowance and other benefitsProject Values - from 500k to 2.5millionQuantity Surveyor for the Southern Region of the business. To assist the Operations team in managing and overseeing all commercial matters on projects from tender handover, through delivery to completion. To provide Commercial input and advice to Project Manager (PM)'s and Engineers as necessary while managing the region's commercial performance.Qualifications Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent Membership of the RICS, CIOB, or ICES or at least working towards full membershipCompetencies Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, both verbally and in writing. Ability to be precise and meticulous in ensuring processes are carried out correctly and in a timely manner. Ability to apply business acumen to solve problems. Ability to effectively manage time and tasks to achieve high productivity Able to produce work in an accurate and timely manner Able to work effectively and responsibly without close supervision Able to prioritise work efficiently Able to produce high quality, accurate documentation Full clean driving licence Good interpersonal and communication skills Strong business acumen, able to solve problems Good computer literacy skills Ability to produce work in an accurate and timely mannerEssential Min 3 years QS experience Quantity Surveying degree or equivalentDesirable Knowledge of the construction industry and ground investigations NEC3/4 Proficientto be considered for this please send me an updated CV to - JBRP1_UKTJ
