Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Basingstoke. The business specialises in the super prime residential and heritage sectors, undertaking projects typically valuing up to 20mil across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. Projects are administered via JCT forms of contract. As a result of key project wins in the region, they're now looking to expand the team with a project level Surveyor. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be either responsible for your own smaller project or work alongside a SQS on a larger more complex scheme. You will be involved in managing the project commercially from early procurement through to completion. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Manage sub-contract procurement Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client Deal with final accounts Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position: Have a HNC / construction related degree Have administered JCT forms of contract Must have the full right to work in the UK Must live within commutable distance to Basingstoke In return you will receive: Salary: Up to 60k Company Car / Car Allowance Healthy holiday allowance Steady pipeline of local work and opportunity for progression within the business This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a long established business with a reputation in the sector for delivering excellence.
