3rd Line Storage Support EngineerLocation: Basingstoke – Fully Onsite Shifts: (07:00 – 15:00 or 11:00 – 19:00)We are seekin a 3rd Line Storage Support Engineer to join a team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers on a high-level government account. You will contribute to a service by working with new technologies and sharing ideas.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support the backup and storage solution for high availability and disaster recovery.Conduct daily checks, produce documentation, and manage product lifecycle.Assist a high profile user community and maintain daily contact with customers/stakeholders.Utilise the IT Service Management Toolset.Critical responsibility for monitoring of Event Management tooling, triage, and escalation.Essential Experience/SkillsTransferable skills and experience in the following are highly valued:Dell EMC Storage solutions (Including Avamar, SAN & Data domain)vCentreEvent Management Tooling (SCOM)SCCM / MCM patch deploymentITSM ToolingActive DirectoryWindows ServerMicrosoft PKIBenefits:£50k Base10% DV Bonus5% Company Bonus£6k Car allowance ( can be taken as cash )25 Days A/LImportant RequirementsThis role requires candidates to be a sole national.Candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo a high level of security clearance.Note: If you don't meet all the requirements, but have a background in System Administration or transferable skills, you are still encouraged to apply.
