Job Description Procurement Account ManagerSalary: 45,000 - 50,000Location: BasingstokeHybrid Working Available (2 days per week in office)We are supporting a long-established procurement consultancy that provides essential services to schools and Trusts across the UK. Following continued growth, they are seeking a capable and motivated Procurement Account Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys managing a diverse range of tender processes, from catering and cleaning to ICT managed services, payroll, reprographics, and maintenance.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will support clients throughout the end-to-end tender lifecycle: drafting tender documentation, coordinating bid processes, evaluating submissions, and ensuring full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.What Were Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be: Open, honest and confident Enthusiastic with a desire to grow into an expert Innovative, proactive and solutions-focused Detail-driven with exceptionally high standards A strong communicator and team player Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects Someone who strives for excellence and never settles for goodKey Responsibilities Produce high-quality, compliant MoI, PSQ, ITT and RFP documents using PandaDoc Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers (phone, email, in-person) Manage bid timelines and coordinate all tender-related tasks Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets and project documentation Undertake complex bid evaluation and financial analysis Attend site visits and bidder presentations Produce detailed post-project Procurement Audit Reports Use and manage In-Tend e-procurement software Review and improve tender templates and documentation Manage workflow tasks via GenieAI CRM Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement legislationSkills & ExperienceEssential: Experience in a procurement role Bid evaluation and analysis expertise Strong report writing and presentation skills Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills High attention to detail and ability to work independentlyDesirable: Understanding of the Procurement Act 2023 Experience using e-procurement platforms (e.g., In-Tend) Sector experience within education Degree (or equivalent qualification)Other: Full UK driving licenceBenefits Hybrid working 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with Christmas shutdown allocation) Financial support for CIPS qualifications Enhanced employer pension contributions (up to 5%) Perks at Work package Comprehensive staff wellbeing programme Life insurance (after 12 months) Company sick pay (two weeks full pay + two weeks half pay) Private medical insurance (after two years) Access to training and development courses Annual wellbeing day with budget Quarterly company strategy and social eventsWhy Apply?This role is ideal for a hardworking, meticulous individual who enjoys responsibility, variety, and contributing to impactful procurement projects.
