Mechanical Inspector

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our client growing team in Basildon on a permanent basis . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment, playing a key role in ensuring the quality of our mechanical components and assemblies. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed mechanical inspections of manufactured components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications Use a range of inspection equipment, including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable) Identify and report non-conformances and support root cause analysis Accurately complete inspection reports and maintain quality documentation Liaise with production and quality teams to ensure product quality and continuous improvement Requirements: Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances Proficient with manual measuring instruments; CMM experience is desirable but not essential Good communication skills and attention to detail Willingness to work rotating early and late shifts What We Offer: Competitive salary and shift allowance Permanent employment with stability and career growth opportunities Ongoing training and development 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme and other company benefits TPBN1_UKTJ
