Job Title: Asbestos SurveyorLocation: Essex / Greater M25 AreaSalary: £30,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established and UKAS-accredited consultancy operating across residential and commercial sectors. This is a full-time, field-based role with excellent support, training, and the chance to be part of a family-run business with a strong team ethos.The Role: You will carry out management and refurbishment/demolition asbestos surveys across a broad mix of properties - from residential housing for local authorities and supermarkets to retail stores and banking sector clients. Although the company provides a national service, the majority of the work is concentrated around Essex and the M25 corridor.Youll need to be flexible to travel to return samples to the Essex-based laboratory. All travel costs, hotel stays, tolls, and congestion charges are covered, and youll be provided with a company vehicle.What Youll Be Doing:Conducting asbestos surveys (management and R&D) on residential, commercial, and retail sitesEnsuring all samples are handled and returned in accordance with UKAS protocolsCompleting accurate and timely reportsLiaising with clients and project managers as requiredWhat Were Looking For:P402 qualified with a minimum of 2 years field experienceStrong working knowledge of asbestos survey methodologies and legislationBased within or near the Essex/M25 areaExcellent communication and report-writing skillsFull UK driving licenceWhats on Offer:Competitive salary (£30,000 - £45,000 DOE)Company van and fuel cardAll travel, hotels, tolls, and congestion expenses paidSupportive senior management -all of whom started as surveyors/analysts themselves in the businessFamily-run, 50+ strong team where staff wellbeing is a top priorityWork with a UKAS-accredited, highly respected firmJBRP1_UKTJ
