Childcare Solicitor

We are proud to be partnering with a West-Midlands based Local Authority, who are looking to appoint a Childcare Solicitor on a 3 month (minimum) locum contract.This role can be completed on a fully remote basis, and offers an hourly rate of circa. £50 – £60/hour via an umbrella company.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Managing a caseload of Childcare legal matters, including adoption proceedings, care proceedings, deprivation of liberty proceedings, PLOs and DOLsDrafting and settling of legal documentation with particular reference to Children’s Social CareConducting litigation with particular reference to Children’s Social Care and mattersAdvocating in contested and uncontested hearings (remote), and instructing Counsel at the Family Court as necessary, including preparing and managing casesExperience required:Experience required within Childcare lawLocal Government experienceRewards and Benefits:Remote workingFlexible working hoursWorking hours:Full-time and part-time options consideredFlexible start/finish timesPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
