Technical Architect – Identity & Access Management - Up to £75k + 25% bonusWe’re partnered with a well-regarded UK-based consultancy expanding its External Identity capability. They're looking for a hands-on Technical Architect with strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and cloud-based authentication to help design, build, and deliver secure external user identity solutions.You’ll play a key role in shaping client architectures, working closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver modern, standards-based solutions across a range of industries.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and define secure IAM architectures for external user platformsLead technical delivery of identity solutions using Microsoft cloud technologiesImplement features hands-on (C#, .NET, Azure AD B2C/B2B, custom APIs)Contribute to project planning, timelines, and technical documentationSupport occasional pre-sales work and proposal inputAct as a subject matter expert on identity standards and practicesMentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharingRequired ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, especially B2C or B2B implementationsSolid programming background in C#, .NET, CoreFamiliarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocolsWeb development understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)SQL Server experience and database integration skillsComfortable working in Agile/Scrum teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdditional RequirementsCandidates must hold active Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible to obtain SC clearanceEligibility requires having lived in the UK for the last 5 years, with no more than 30 consecutive days outside the UK during that periodCandidates must have the full right to work in the UK without sponsorshipDesirable SkillsFamiliarity with identity platforms like Auth0, Okta, or IdentityServerBroader knowledge of the Microsoft stack (Blazor, App Services, Graph API)Previous consultancy or client-facing experienceAbility to lead small technical teams or projectsAdditional DetailsThe role is primarily remote, but occasional and sporadic visits to client sites are required to support end-user engagements and project needs.The performance bonus is linked to billable hours spent directly with clients, rewarding your active contribution to delivery.What You’ll GetUp to £75,000 base salary depending on experience25% performance-related bonus (realistically achievable and tied to billable client hours)Remote-first flexibility with some client site visitsAccess to the latest Microsoft tools and certificationsDefined career progression and learning opportunitiesPrivate healthcare and strong pension offeringFeel like this role would suit you?Apply now – If you need a confidential conversation, please drop an email over to:Thomas Garrett – Senior Recruitment Consultant – CPS Group – tgarrett@
