CNC Turner People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join our well-established client, based in Earl Shilton (near Hinckley, LE9) on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate and room to grow and progress. Hours of Work You have the choice of two shift patterns: Monday Thursday: 07:00 17:15 Monday Thursday: 07:00 16:00 & Friday: 07:00 12:00 Salary 30,628 - 35,568 Annually (15.50 18.00 per hour) (depending on experience a higher rate will be paid if you can program) Benefits Flexible choice of shift patterns Competitive pay rates based on experience and programming ability Long-term career opportunity with a growing precision engineering business Supportive team environment Day-to-Day Duties Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components Program CNC lathes (if experienced higher rate applies) Work from technical drawings to tight tolerances Manage small-batch, quick-turnaround production runs Carry out first-off inspections to ensure quality standards are achieved Liaise with supervisors and floor manager to meet production schedules Maintain a clean and safe working environment Essential Skills Proven CNC Turning experience (setting & operating) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working in fast-paced, small-batch environments Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality Flexible, team-oriented approach Desirable Skills CNC programming experience (Fanuc/Mazatrol or similar) Previous experience in small-batch precision engineering workshops Confidence in carrying out inspections and quality checks Training On-the-job training provided to familiarise with machines and processes Ongoing development and support to progress within the role Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process TPBN1_UKTJ
