Job Description Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer or Multi Skilled Engineer looking for a career change into engineering training or apprenticeship assessment?This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer or Multi Skilled Engineer to transition into a rewarding career as an Engineering Assessor, supporting apprentices working towards nationally recognised engineering apprenticeship standards.We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering training provider that delivers high-quality apprenticeships and engineering training to hundreds of employers across manufacturing, engineering and industrial sectors.Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint anElectrical / Multi Skilled Engineering Assessor to support apprentices across the region.This role is ideal for engineers looking to step away from shift work or site-based roles and move into a position where they can pass on their industry knowledge while helping to develop the next generation of engineers.The RoleAs a Field Team Assessor, you will visit apprentices within their workplace to assess their progress against apprenticeship standards and support their technical development.You will work closely with learners and employers across the Humber region, helping apprentices build the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful careers in engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesVisiting apprentices within their workplace across the Humber regionAssessing learner progress against apprenticeship standardsSupporting apprentices through mentoring and technical guidanceWorking with employers to ensure training objectives are metMaintaining accurate assessment records and learner progress reportsWhat We Are Looking ForBackground as an Electrical Engineer or Multi Skilled EngineerRelevant engineering trade qualificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine interest in supporting the development of apprenticesAbility to manage a regional caseload independentlyEssential RequirementsFull UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleThe successful candidate will need to travel between training centres and company sites across the Humber region, therefore public transport is not a practical option.Desirable (Training Can Be Provided)Level 3 Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, CAVA or equivalent)IQA Level 4 qualificationCandidates without assessor qualifications are welcome to apply. Full support will be provided to gain the required qualifications.
