Location: Barrow-in-Furness Dockyard Contract Dates: 01/12/2025 11/12/2025 (Possible 1-week extension) Clearance: SC Cleared Positions Available: 10 Thermal Insulation Engineers (TIEs) About the role: We are seeking 10 experienced, SC-cleared Thermal Insulators to join a short-term project at Barrow Dockyard.Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.This assignment offers excellent earning potential, including overtime opportunities, allowances, and a substantial completion bonus payable at the end of the project (amount TBC).This project will operate on both day and night shifts, paid in line with TICA rates.Key requirements: Must hold valid SC Clearance Must be TICA registered and able to provide a valid TICA card upon application Must work via PAYE or Umbrella Available for the full project duration Able to commit to 70 hours per week Rates TICA: PAYE Hourly Rates Dayshift: 18.31 per hour Nightshift: 27.46 per hour Additional Pay & Allowances Bonus: 1.41 per hour Workers must submit one safety observation per week to receive this bonus.Travel Allowance: Paid per day based on distance from site OR Lodge Allowance: Paid per day (applicable for xjdpvnf workers travelling 30 miles) Tool Allowance: Paid weekly Overtime Rates Weekday Overtime: x1.5 Saturday (first 4 hours): x1.5 Remaining Saturday hours: x2 All Sunday hours: x2 Additional Benefits Large Completion Bonus paid at the end of the project (TBC) High weekly earning potential with overtime Reputable project and excellent employer support
