It's a fantastic opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge project that's shaping the future of naval engineering.As a Pipefitter, you'll play a vital role within a specialist team, working on the latest generation of submarines, contributing to either the prestigious Astute or Dreadnought projects.What will I be doing?As a skilful Pipefitter, you'll shape essential piping and plumbing systems and make a real impact.To thrive in this role, you'll need experience in:Fabrication and Installation of Pipe Systems and Components, conducted in accordance with quality standards & regulatory requirements.Manufacturing to isometrics pipes/installing pipelinesGeneral Pipefitting/fabrication - Oil and GasWorking safely, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations & guidelines.Following the relevant instructions, drawings and any other Quality Standards/Specifications.Pay ratesBAE Systems offers a range of pay rates to contractors, depending on your shift allocation and travel distance to the Barrow site.
