OverviewRoyal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiac Physiology team at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) within the Cardio-Respiratory department. The post supports plans to start bradycardia pacing implantation in North Devon and offers an opportunity to develop clinical skills in a rural North Devon setting near beaches and countryside. The post holder will provide specialist direction and expertise in the technical environment of device implantation and follow-up, as well as other aspects of CRM. They will act as a resource to provide expert and specialist advice, and work with the CRM lead and clinical colleagues to bring bradycardia pacing implantation to North Devon in the near future. Key duties include: Provide professional direction and expertise in CRM clinical physiology. Support device implantation and follow-up activities. Collaborate with Cardiology Consultants, specialist nurses and other team members in a multidisciplinary setting. QualificationsCompleted a BSc (Hons) in clinical physiology or equivalent. IBHRE accreditation or at least 2 years of equivalent experience at band 6 or above with CPD focused on cardiac rhythm management. Requirements and attributesProven record of working to a high standard with excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. Team player with ability to contribute to multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to continuing professional development and skills updates as services develop.
