Business Development Manager Technical / Industrial Solutions Location: UK (Hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days from home) Salary: 40,000 + performance bonus OverviewAn established provider of technical engineering and environmental control solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK. The business delivers design, installation, and maintenance projects for clients in sectors such as healthcare, research, manufacturing, and education. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with experience in HVAC, building services, cleanroom, or other industrial environments. Youll play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue through consultative, solution-led sales. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across target sectors. Build and maintain strong client and contractor relationships. Prepare and present proposals and tenders with technical teams. Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess requirements. Manage a structured sales pipeline and report against KPIs. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support commercial strategy. Skills & Experience Proven success in business development, technical sales, or account management within HVAC, building services, laboratory, or industrial systems. Technical understanding of ventilation, air handling, or related systems. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly self-motivated, organised, and target-driven. Experience with clients in life sciences, healthcare, or education. Knowledge of cleanroom or controlled environment standards (e.g., ISO, GMP). Technical or engineering background advantageous.
