Job Description Closing date for applications: Friday 14th November 2025Applicants must be based in the UK and be able to commute a minimum of one day per week to our Barnsley (Yorkshire) office.HMA is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our award-winning creative agency.This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and highly organised designer to join our marketing team in bringing client brands, assets, and campaigns to life.In this role, you will be responsible for:Creating high-quality visual assets in line with client brand guidelines while also contributing to the development of creative concepts that bring their stories and campaigns to lifeClearly articulating your creative process, thoughts, ideas and point of view, presenting concepts/designs internally and where appropriate, to clients, providing a strong rationale where neededInterpreting, and applying feedback effectivelyWorking to short deadlines and fast turnaround times, particularly for advertising assets.Effectively manage a varied workload, balancing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.General design related administration dutiesYou will be a great fit if you:Can present a portfolio of work that demonstrates a creative approach to concept, insight and deliveryHave at least 5 years design agency experienceHave experience working with the Adobe CC suite and Figma.Can demonstrate a good knowledge of design trendsHave a proactive, motivated, versatile and a can-do attitudeExample design projects you may work on:Multi-format promotional materials (presentations, leaflets, web pages etc.)Advertising assets across multiple publications and digital platforms.Support on stakeholder presentations, congress materials, and campaign launches.Why choose HMA?Were a collaborative and creative agency with over 25 years' experience specialising in health, science and technology communications.
