Job DescriptionAssistant Design Manager - Major Residential Development - East LondonAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Assistant Design Manager to join a main contractor on a landmark residential led regeneration scheme in East London.This high-profile development includes nearly 200 build-to-rent apartments across two high-rise towers, along with commercial space and shared resident amenities. The project forms part of a wider regeneration of the town centre, offering the successful candidate invaluable exposure to complex urban residential delivery.Role Overview:Working closely with the Design Manager and site team, youll support the coordination of design information across all disciplines, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance throughout the build.Key Responsibilities:Assist with managing the flow of design information between consultants, subcontractors, and the construction teamHelp review drawings, specifications, and technical submissionsMaintain drawing registers, issue logs, and support with document controlSupport in resolving design-related queries on siteRequirements:1-2 years experience in a design or technical role within constructionBackground in residential projects, ideally including RC frame or high-rise schemesDegree in Architecture / Construction ManagementExcellent organisation and communication skillsA proactive attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced environmentThis is a fantastic chance to be part of a major East London development from an early stage, working with an experienced team on a project that will positively shape the area.
