Job Overview This post is restricted to current employees of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. A vacancy has arisen for a substantive Specialty Registrar in Trauma & Orthopaedics and we invite applications. Four of our Registrars have recently passed FRCS (TR & Orth) and three of them have recently left for fellowships.Main duties of the job The successful candidate will join a friendly and enthusiastic team of ten other Registrars, and will partake in the trauma on‑call rota. The hard‑working, highly motivated, dedicated team of Consultants, medical and nursing staff provide a high‑quality, modern service in a rapidly developing unit. The department provides elective and emergency in‑patient, day‑case and outpatient services to a catchment area of approximately 240,000 residents.Working for our organisation This position will be based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, which is located in Bangor, North West Wales, adjacent to the Menai Straits and in the shadow of the mountains of Snowdonia.
