Role: Duty ManagerLocation: OxfordSalary: £14.16 per hour/£29,452 per Annum + excellent benefitsHours: 20–40 hours per week (mix of early, late & weekend shifts) We are working on behalf of a leading leisure services provider to recruit a Duty Manager to join a dynamic and customer-focused team operating across five leisure centres in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a vital role supporting community health and wellbeing. About the Role:You will play a key part in leading the day-to-day operations of busy, multi-functional leisure centres. This includes managing staff such as lifeguards and supervisors, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. You will be required to work across five sites and be flexible to cover a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, is essential. Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations across multiple leisure sitesManage and support site teams to ensure high service standardsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and operational proceduresCreate a welcoming and safe environment for customersDevelop positive relationships with partners, guests, and community stakeholdersAbout You:We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on individual with a passion for leisure and fitness. You’ll have:Experience working directly with customers, preferably in the leisure or hospitality industryPrevious operational management or supervisory experienceA positive, team-focused attitude and strong leadership skillsDesirable qualifications:National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)First Aid at WorkPool Plant Operator CertificateIf you're enthusiastic, adaptable, and ready to take on a varied and rewarding role, we want to hear from you.
