An excellent well-established, forward-thinking GP surgery based in Banbury, are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their supportive and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, where no two days are the same, and where your work truly matters. Your Role As the first point of contact for their patients, youll play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional front-of-house experience. Youll be responsible for: Greeting and checking in patients at reception Managing appointments and patient queries using EMIS Web (training provided) Answering phone calls and handling general enquiries in a courteous and helpful manner Processing prescriptions and administrative requests Assisting with post, filing, scanning, and supporting the wider admin team Preparing lab samples, giving authorised test results, and more What Youll Bring Previous reception, customer service or administrative experience (healthcare experience a bonus!)
