Job Description Days Engineering Team Leader - Food ManufacturingLocation: BanburyShift Pattern: Wednesday - Saturday (Days)Salary - 56,021 per annum We are currently recruiting for an experienced Days Engineering Team Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Banbury.This is a hands-on leadership role, split between practical engineering work and office-based responsibilities, supporting the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support a team of engineers on daysCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdownsProvide hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance supportPlan and prioritise daily engineering activitiesEnsure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and engineering standardsSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiativesComplete reports, maintenance records, and shift handoversRequirements:Proven experience as a Team Leader / Senior Engineer within food manufacturing or FMCGStrong mechanical or electrical background (dual-skilled advantageous)Experience with PPM systems and breakdown diagnosticsRecognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent)Comfortable balancing hands-on engineering and office-based dutiesGood leadership, communication, and organisational skillsWhat's on Offer:Stable days-based shift pattern (Wed-Sat)Opportunity to lead within a fast-paced food manufacturing environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageJBRP1_UKTJ
