When you join us as a Site Manager, you'll benefit from:Competitive salaryBonusCar Allowance or Company Car5 housebuilder - Be part of a company that consistently delivers quality homes and outstanding customer satisfactionHealthcareLife Cover & Contributory PensionEmployee Benefits Platform giving you access to high-street discounts, wellbeing support, and moreCommitted to diversity, inclusion, and empowering your developmentWhat is the role?Persimmon Homes are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join their Construction Team and report into the Construction Director.The purpose of the role is to manage the construction site according to company guidelines and goals ensuring all aspects of the project are in conformity with proposed budgets, timelines and construction and quality standards.What you'll do as a Site Manager:Manage a construction site, to ensure the development is completed on time, to specification and safety regulations, while complying with company and construction build and quality standardsEnsure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards and carried out in accordance with Group guidelinesFacilitate communication and coordinate activities with external third-parties, such as warranty provider, local authorities and utility companies to ensure achievement of the build programmeMaintaining accurate records for the development including but not limited to, Staff Inductions, Health, Safety and Environment, timesheets, incident reports, quality control checklistsEnsure materials are called off in a timely manner and checked and stored in accordance with Group guidelinesDirect and supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budgetWork cohesively with other departments across the Operating Company such as Sales and Customer Care to ensure achievement of targets, for example prompt resolution of customer care issues and timely updates relating to plot progressEnsure compliance of the site workforce and all visitors with the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy to minimise incidents and accidentsThis role will involve travel across various sites in the region as well as occasional trips to other Group officesWhat experience do I need?Experience within the house building industry is essentialUnderstanding of the NHBC or /LABC/Premier standardsUnderstanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislationCurrent CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is preferredFull UK Driving Licence is requiredQualified to minimum NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management preferredJBRP1_UKTJ
