Operating from two outstanding sites our 26acre Banbury Head Office and warehousing facility, and our stateoftheart Health & Beauty manufacturing site in Redditch we offer a dynamic, collaborative and supportive place to work.This role is based from our Banbury Head Office and is offered on a 12month fixed term contract.The roleAs a Commercial Manager, you will act as a true brand ambassador, owning and driving category growth across Wholesale, Convenience, Ecommerce and Health sectors. You will play a key role in strengthening supplier and customer relationships, delivering profitable growth and ensuring commercial excellence throughout the product lifecycle.Key responsibilities will include:Owning and developing category growth across multiple channelsDriving cashflow improvement through management of supplier aged and disputed debtRecovering costs associated with residuals, overstocks and outofdate stockDelivering a tailored category management approach to customers, aligned to their individual needsCommunicating and negotiating effectively at all levels, internally and externallyActing as a clear communication link between sales teams, customers and suppliersRepresenting DCS at internal meetings, external events and industry seminarsOwning the endtoend product recall process, ensuring full compliance at every stageAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will be:An effective communicator with outstanding written, verbal and presentation skillsConfident and credible when negotiating with internal and external stakeholdersHighly motivated, proactive and commercially focused, with a positive cando attitudeComfortable working in a fastpaced environment, able to prioritise effectively and make sound commercial decisions under pressureA collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others to achieve shared goalsContract details and benefits12month fixed term contractFulltime, officebased role (Banbury)At DCS Group, we place a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing and offer a wide range of benefits, including:Life coverPensionMedical Cash PlanCycle to Work SchemeWellbeing initiativesSubsidised caf including free breakfastStaff shopSocial events
