This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the entire operational function, including production, people, performance, and process improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering operational excellence and supporting long-term business growth.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across site operations.Oversee all aspects of production including flow, efficiency, stock, safety, and customer fulfilmentLead and develop high-performing operational teams, with a focus on accountability and resultsDrive a continuous improvement culture using LEAN and data-led approachesCollaborate closely with Technical, Engineering, Finance, Planning, and Logistics teamsTake ownership of site performance reporting and ensure delivery against key KPIsChampion compliance with food safety, health 'safety, and environmental standardsManage relationships with suppliers and planning teams to ensure accurate stock controlSupport business case development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of strategic projectsLead succession planning, staff training, and performance managementWhat Were Looking For:Extensive experience in a senior operations or production leadership role within food manufacturingStrong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and process improvement methodologiesProven ability to manage, develop, and motivate large teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsCommercial awareness and strategic thinkingStrong track record in achieving and improving KPIsDeep understanding of compliance across food safety, HSE, and environmental areasReporting Line:This position reports directly to Executive Leadership.This is a key leadership opportunity within a fast-paced, forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
