We are currently hiring MIG and TIG Welders for anindustry leader in UKs Building Services sector. This opportunity has the potential for successful candidates to develop and retain further skills within numerous welding, fabrication, and preparation disciplines.Hours:MIG Welders work Monday-Thursday 07:00-17:00 Friday 07:00-16:00 (44 hours) and TIG Welders work Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:30 Friday 07:00-13:30 (40 hours)Rate:Competitive rates -dependent on experience with OT available at 1.5Job SummaryTo weld a range of pipe configurations while applying various methods to produce high quality welds. Key Responsibilities:To operate MIG welding equipment.To read/interpret drawings.Use precision measurement instruments.Use of metal cutting and grinding equipment.Adhere to company welding procedures and ensure proper pipe preparation and fit-up.Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling.Clean tools, equipment, and work areas, maintaining a safe working environment.To undertake training in line with company standards and any other duties deemed necessary by Management.
