Due to the importance of the role, the hiring manager is prepared to move quickly and interview immediately.If you have strong procurement experience, SAP knowledge, and are available at short notice, we would love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing RFQs and ensuring sourcing complies with appropriate buying policiesRaising purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAPManaging consumables, expendables and general procurement ordersPosting goods receipts and ensuring timely invoice paymentMonitoring supplier performance and procurement KPIsLiaising daily with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issuesManaging orderbooks and maintaining accurate procurement recordsSupporting stock optimisation (MOQ, parameters, lead times, etc.)Assisting with budget control and procurement forecastingAddressing delivery discrepancies and invoice queriesSupporting procurement process improvementsEssential ExperienceMinimum 3 years experience in Procurement or Supply ChainHands-on experience using SAPStrong MS Office skills (particularly Excel)Experience raising POs, managing goods receipts and invoice reconciliationGood planning and organisational skillsConfident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholdersDesirableExperience using MySupplyProcurement-related qualificationExperience within defence, aerospace, engineering or manufacturing environmentsAdditional InformationBPSS clearance required to start (candidates must be comfortable providing references and employment history details)SC clearance required for continued employmentManual handling training will be providedThis is an urgent requirement, and interviews will be arranged quickly for suitable candidates. xjdpvnf If you are immediately available or on a short notice period, please apply today.
