Pre Construction Manager

The Pre Construction Manager will report to the Business Unit Manager and Group Commercial Director, taking overall responsibility for work winning and Preconstruction commercial activities for Dowds Construction. This includes implementing strategy and managing, motivating, and directing the Pre-Construction team. About the role:£75,000 (Circa) Monday to Friday Ballymena Opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with growth potential Hybrid working available Long-term career development opportunities Full-Time | Permanent Role Key Responsibilities:Owning the sales process of developing an opportunity pipeline to meet strategy and annual projection Convert pipeline opportunities into successful, profitable project wins Manage and inspire a diverse pre-construction team, promoting collaboration and accountability Develop and maintain client relationships at all levels, offering strategic input and support Report regularly to the SLT with progress on commercial performance and team development Ensure each project is scoped, priced, and prepared to meet budget, performance indicators, and client expectations Deliver continual improvement initiatives across the pre-construction function Criteria:Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar Pre-Construction or senior commercial role Proven leadership in MEP Building Services projects of at least £10M+ Trade or engineering background is preferred Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness Exceptional stakeholder and client communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality If this sounds like the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
