MCS Group is working with a Public Sector body who are looking for a Band 6 Service Desk Analyst for a temporary post until March 2026. The Service Desk Analyst will work full-time on site, and provide first line ICT support to service users, ensuring that incidents and service requests are logged, monitored and resolved in line with agreed service levels. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality ICT service to staff and users, working closely with colleagues, third-party providers and internal customers. The RoleProvide first line ICT support by logging, resolving and escalating incidents and service requests. Ensure service requests passed to other teams or suppliers are followed up and closed within SLA targets. Assist with the installation of hardware and software as required. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with ICT, security and confidentiality policies. Support compliance with ISO standards and ITIL processes. Essential CriteriaApplicants must meet one of the following qualification/experience routes: Hold a HND or relevant professional qualification in an ICT discipline and have at least 6 months' experience in an ICT technical role; OR Have at least 1 year's experience in an ICT technical role. A strong technical understanding of Windows 10, Microsoft Office (2016-365), hardware and software support is required. You will be a Team player with a positive, proactive approach. Full UK driving licence and access to a car is required. (This may be waived where disability prohibits driving and suitable alternative arrangements can be made.) Salary : Band 4 (entry point on the scale £26,530) Hours : 9am - 5pm / Monday - Friday Duration : Until March 2026 Location : Ballymoney (on-site).
