Job Description Curtis Toyota Ballymena is a family-run Toyota dealership with over 40 years experience serving customers across Northern Ireland. We pride ourselves on being approachable, honest, and supportive, with a strong focus on long-term relationships and staff development.We are now looking for a Sales & Marketing Trainee to join our Ballymena team. This is an entry-level role designed to give hands-on experience across both sales and marketing, with clear progression opportunities.The RoleThis role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how a successful car dealership operates and build a long-term career. You will be trained and supported by experienced team members and gain exposure to both customer-facing sales activity and behind-the-scenes marketing.Key responsibilities include:Observing and supporting the sales team in day-to-day showroom activityLearning how customer enquiries, appointments, test drives, and handovers are managedAssisting with preparing vehicles for sale, including presentation and forecourt standardsHelping with vehicle photography and short videos using dealership software and toolsSupporting online listings and basic marketing activityGaining an understanding of CRM systems, compliance, and customer follow-upDeveloping product knowledge across Toyota and used vehiclesOver time, this role can progress into either a Sales Executive position or a Marketing-focused role, depending on strengths and interests.What Were Looking ForA positive attitude and willingness to learnGood communication and people skillsComfortable using computers and basic IT systemsInterest in cars, customer service, or marketingReliable, organised, and keen to develop professionallyFull UK driving licence No previous motor trade, sales, or marketing experience is required as full training will be provided.What We OfferCompetitive starting salary at National Living Wage levelFull training and mentoring from experienced team membersManufacturer and in-house trainingClear career progression opportunitiesSupportive, family-run working environment
