Dermatology Nurse Band 6

The post holder will be a member of the Dermatology Day Care Unit, Causeway, Outpatient’s Department in a supportive managerial role to the Outpatient Manager and is responsible for carrying out programmes of care ensuring that practice is in accordance with the NMC Code and the Scope of Professional Practice.The post holder will be responsible for undertaking managerial duties in the Dermatology Day Care Unit, providing managerial support, supervision, preceptorship, mentorship and assistance to all grades of staff.The Post holder will deliver dermatology day care phototherapy and light treatments and other dermatology clinical care.The post holder will be responsible for undertaking and delivery of biopsy clinics when competencies completedThe post holder will act as a resource on clinical issues within the clinical setting and contribute to the development of the systems to support nursing staff.ResponsibilitiesEnsures that programmes of care are carried out to optimum standards.Be responsible for training and supporting other staff working in dermatology.Please visit to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.Skills and QualificationsRegistered Nurse on part 1 of the live NMC Register.Knowledge of dermatology day care phototherapy and light treatments.Further InformationLocation - Braid Valley Site: Ballymena Health Centre. #J-18808-Ljbffr
