We're looking for a Senior Production Operator to join our team in the Packing Hall, overseeing daily operations and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.Staffline is recruiting Senior Production Operators in Driffield.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on responsibility, takes pride in quality, and can motivate a team to hit targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene.The rate of pay is 15.44 per hour.This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:- 6am to 6pm3 x 20-minute breaks per shift.Your Time at WorkAs a Senior Production Operator your duties include:- Leading and supervising a team of Packing Hall Operators.- Coordinating shift activities, including work tasks, breaks, and hygiene protocols.- Managing efficient changeovers and handovers between shifts.- Conducting start-up checks and ensuring correct setup of packing and processing lines.- Monitoring equipment performance and troubleshooting minor faults (escalating when needed).- Maintaining accurate logs and records (product waste, downtime, film usage, etc.).- Ensuring accurate coding, pallet tracking, and product quality checks.- Supporting housekeeping and safe working practices throughout the shift.- Using systems like WinCC and SAP to manage packing orders.Our Perfect WorkerOur perfect worker will have strong communication skills to work closely with Shift Engineers, QCs, and Managers, and you will have confidence using production systems and completing compliance records.Applicants will have leadership ability and a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude - safety and quality come first.Experience in a similar role is required.Key Information and Benefits- Competitive hourly rate of 15.44- Fixed 4-day week (3-day weekend, every week!)- Paid breaks and a supportive team environment- The opportunity to make a real impact in a vital area of production- Career growth and development in a thriving company- Temp to perm opportunity- Canteen on site- Free car parking on site- Free hot drinks- PPE provided- Full training provided- Opportunities for overtimeJob Ref: 1DARTAAbout StafflineStaffline is the UK's leading provider of flexible, temporary and permanent workforce solutions, enabling over 28,000 people into good work every day.
