This role does not offer sponsorship.As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our close-knit team at Parkside House School located in Backworth.About the roleTo provide a high quality education support service to Service Users and in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body.Key task areas and responsibilitiesTo support the class teacher/tutor in order to ensure the delivery of a high quality education for all studentsTo support the class teacher and/or tutor to ensure that all relevant education policies and procedures are implemented in full To provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, in order to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possibleTo promote, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational and moral development of the studentsTo ensure that the available equipment and resources are used, stored and maintained efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staffDriving licence required as this role may require working across both of our Parkside House School sites, located in Backworth and Ashington.About UsParkside House School is an Independent Special School.
