Senior Quantity Surveyor Groundworks & Civils Location: Kent (with travel across London and the South East) Contract Type: Permanent or Freelance A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is expanding and now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Youll take ownership of infrastructure and groundworks packages from pre-contract through to final account, working across high-value sites in London and the Home Counties. Key Responsibilities: Prepare take-offs and support tender reviews Measure works and produce valuations Manage variations, forecasts, and interim applications Monitor budgets and resource allocation Procure and manage subcontractor accounts Support claims and assess commercial risks Maintain internal commercial procedures Essential Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in groundworks and civils Strong contractual and commercial understanding Excellent communication and time management Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Full UK driving licence Desirable: CSCS card Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering RICS or equivalent membership Whats on Offer: Kent-based office with travel to sites across London and the South East Permanent or freelance engagement Competitive salary or day rate depending on experience Opportunity to work with a respected contractor on major infrastructure projects If youre a commercially driven QS with solid groundworks and civils experience, apply today for a confidential discussion TPBN1_UKTJ
