The firm provide accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory services to businesses and individuals. They work closely with their clients and act for a broad range of business and personal clients.They pride their practice on having both the technical and interpersonal skills to address each client's unique accounting needs and build lasting relationships.They are seeking an experienced Client manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This key role involves managing client relationships, preparing financial statements, developing new business, overseeing service delivery, and supporting team growth. Client Manager Job OverviewManage a portfolio of key client accounts (i.e. manage relationships, communication and administration which includes billing)Manage new client onboarding procedures including quotes, AML checks, engagement lettersPrepare internal accounts and management reports for directorsOversee accounting department operations including planning and monitoringReview work of the team including accounts, tax returns, and more for companies, partnerships, and sole tradersSupervise a team of Accountants which includes experienced senior staff and assistant staffPrepare financial statements, tax computations and management report compilations for key clientsContribute to business development initiatives through networking, maintaining client satisfaction, and identifying new opportunitiesLead client meetings and promptly respond to queriesOversee staff training and development needsIdentify and implement process improvementsEnsure compliance with all accounting standards and tax regulationsClient Manager Job RequirementsACA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years' experience, including 2+ years in management position with similar responsibilitiesKnowledge of UK accounting standards, tax, regulations, and practicesExperienced using IRIS Accounts Production / Sage Line 50 / Sage PayrollProficient with Xero, QuickBooks and Microsoft OfficeStrong leadership and team management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical skills and high attention to detailCommercial acumenStrong time management and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlinesEligibility to work in UK without restrictionClient Manager Salary & Benefits40,000 - 50,000 per annum dependant on experience + bonus potential20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Annual leave increased by 1 day a year up until 25 daysTraining and professional developmentMonday - Friday, 37.5 hoursFlexible working hours.
