Job Description Legal Counsel UK&ILooking for a role where your legal expertise genuinely shapes business strategy? This is a standout opportunity for a sharp, commercially minded Legal Counsel to become the goto legal partner for a major UK&I business within a global group.Based in Reading and/or Aylesbury (4 days in the office), youll work closely with senior leadership and play a pivotal role in driving strategic, commercial, and operational decisions across the region.This is ideal for a hands-on individual who is used to a highvisibility, highimpact role where your legal insight directly influences strategy, operations, and growth across the UK&I region.What Youll Own:Be the primary legal advisor for all UK&I commercials and operationsLead on commercial contracting, especially sale 'supply agreementsManage pre and postdispute matters, working with internal teams and external counselDeliver compliance guidance & training across competition law, data protection, antibribery and moreProvide broad corporate, commercial, real estate, employment, and IP adviceSupport strategic initiatives including restructuring, acquisitions, and divestituresBuild strong relationships and influence key stakeholders at senior levelsWhat You Bring:UKqualified solicitor with 5+ years PQEStrong grounding in commercial or corporate law from a top firm or robust inhouse environmentExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsA proactive, solutionsfocused mindset with the confidence to advise senior leadersAbility to juggle multiple matters with sound commercial judgmentA collaborative, curious, and relationshipdriven approachSalary & Benefits:The salary and benefits package will vary depending on experience and ranges from 100,000 to 130,000, plus bonus, private medical insurance, 25 days holiday, and a wide range of additional benefits.If you are interested, please submit your CV.
