We work with clients, contractors and developers in a range of sectors including Energy and Power, Highways, Nuclear and Utilities to name a few, to support with a smooth delivery of projects.The role:As our Bid Writer, youll play a pivotal role in helping our clients secure new business opportunities. Youll be responsible for crafting clear, compelling, and client-focused proposals that reflect their brand, showcase their expertise, and align with client requirements. Youll work closely with directors, technical leads, and the business development team to develop winning bids, frameworks, and tender submissions for a range of construction projects.Key Responsibilities:Write, edit, and coordinate high-quality bid and tender submissionsTranslate technical information into persuasive, client-friendly languageDevelop bid content, case studies, and supporting documents aligned with brand standardsManage bid timelines, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on timeSupport pipeline tracking and bid/no-bid decision processesContribute to continuous improvement of bid materials and knowledge librariesWhat are we looking for?Youll be an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail and a flair for persuasive writing. Youre proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. As well as:2-3 years experience writing bids or tenders, ideally within the construction, engineering, or consultancy sectorStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsAbility to interpret technical content and present it in a clear, compelling wayStrong organisational and project management abilitiesConfident working collaboratively across teams and disciplinesKnowledge of public sector procurement (e.g. frameworks, PQQs, ITTs)
