HGV Class 1 Driver Aston, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Aston, West Midlands . Shifts Monday to Sunday 5 days out of 7 Rates of Pay Basic (Days): 16.50 per hour Nights: 17.50 per hour Saturday: 18.75 per hour Sunday: 20.00 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Carrying out deliveries to major RDC supermarket sites Operating and driving HGV Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured Adhering to all traffic laws and driving regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements Assisting with loading and unloading cargo in line with delivery notes Working with fridge trailers as required Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE licence Minimum of 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements) Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and time-keeping Strong understanding of road transport regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience Experience working with fridge trailers Training Provided Full site induction and training Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
