Sales Estimator

Job Description We are looking for a Sales Estimator to work on a permanent basis for a large engineering company based near Ashton Under Lyne.Salary is c34-40,000 per annum plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, pension, bonus, healthcare etc.Duties for the Sales Estimator role:As a Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales process by reviewing customer enquiries, analysing technical requirements, and producing accurate cost estimates and quotation documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving and reviewing customer enquiries via email, phone, and online portalsAnalysing Bills of Materials (BoMs) to determine required manufacturing processesLiaising with external suppliers to obtain pricing and technical informationLogging and tracking enquiries using internal systems and dashboardsFollowing up with suppliers to obtain timely responsesBuilding cost breakdowns for component parts and processesPreparing and submitting quotation documentation to customersSkills and experience for the Sales Estimator:Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong commercial awarenessExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detailProactive approach with the ability to work within a busy teamGood IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel)How to apply for the Sales Estimator role:If you could be interested in the Sales Estimator role, please call Rebecca at Simply Recruitment Group or press APPLY NOW!JBRP1_UKTJ
