It's our specialist expertise people come for and it's the personal experience that they stay for.Role OverviewThe Account Co-ordinator plays a critical role in delivering a seamless end-to-end service within a rail environment, supporting a key MSP client. This is an admin-heavy, highly organised, client-facing role, responsible for managing day-to-day requirements, contractor administration, and ongoing client liaison.Based onsite at our Ashford offices five days a week, you'll act as the central point of coordination between the client, contractors, and internal teams. A major emphasis of the role is building strong client relationships, influencing forward planning of labour requirements, ensuring processes are followed efficiently, and resolving issues quickly in a heavily health 'safety-focused environment.This role suits someone confident, proactive, and switched on - able to manage high volumes of work, use their initiative, and take ownership in a fast-paced operational setting.Key Responsibilities IncludeAct as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client and contractor queriesManage incoming labour requirements, ensuring requests are logged, processed, and actioned accuratelyUse client systems (PeopleSoft) and internal software to manage administration and workflowSupport the full contractor lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance, inductions, assignment details, and health 'safety requirementsManage contractor timesheets, pay queries, working hours, and contract extensionsBuild strong working relationships with the client and influence forward planning of requirementsEnsure agreed processes are followed efficiently and consistentlyResolve issues as they arise, escalating where necessaryMaintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readinessWork closely with internal delivery teams to maintain service levelsSkills & Experience RequiredStrong administrative experience (essential) - this is a hands-on, admin-heavy roleExperience in recruitment, workforce management, MSP, rail, or blue-collar environments is desirableRail industry knowledge or experience is advantageous but not essentialConfident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and challenging constructively when neededHighly organised with strong attention to detailSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiativeComfortable working at pace in a high-volume, operational environmentStrong awareness of compliance and health 'safety expectationsThis is a great opportunity for someone proactive and detail-focused who thrives in a busy operational role.
