Job Description Senior Designer - Architectural Metal & GlassLocation: Kent (Hybrid)Salary: 50,000-70,000 DOEJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are recruiting for an experienced Senior Designer to join a well-established specialist contractor delivering architectural metal and glass solutions across the UK.The role involves taking ownership of design packages from concept through to manufacture and site installation, producing detailed technical drawings and ensuring full compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.Key Responsibilities:Design and coordination of balustrades, balconies, staircases, access systems, external flooring, and bespoke metalworkProduction of detailed technical, construction, and fabrication drawingsCollaboration with clients, project teams, fabrication, and installation teamsIdentification and management of design and installation risksSupport of technical submissions, RFIs, and design reviewsRequirements:Proven experience as a Senior Designer within architectural metalwork, glass, faade, or similar sectorsStrong 2D and 3D design software skillsGood understanding of compliance, safety standards, and fire remediationKnowledge of installation processes and buildabilityExcellent communication and coordination skillsPackage:50,000-70,000 basic salaryHybrid workingGenerous holiday allowanceSupportive team environment and long-term career progressionApply now or contact us in confidence to discuss further.
