Job DescriptionKier Group are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical, the internal MEP self-delivery business within Kier.This role will join a new project in the Defence sector as part of a major framework.nnLocation: Aldershot, SurreyHours: Full time, Permanent. Flexible working options availablenSalary: 70,000 to 75,000. The package will also include a Car Allowance, Healthcare, Pension and many other flexible benefits.nWhat will you be responsible for?As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will ultimately be responsible for the effective Electrical Project Engineering service of a project.Your Day To Day Will IncludennEnsure all works are procured, planned, and executed safely in line with Kier standards, project requirements, and UK law.nReview designs with teams and clients to ensure compliance, efficiency, and safe construction while implementing robust quality control procedures.nManage project risks, opportunities, and changes effectively to maintain project integrity and efficiency.nProvide leadership to project teams, ensuring clear expectations, accurate reporting, and successful completion within agreed timelines and budgets.nWork within Kier's "one team" model, fostering collaboration, supporting team development, and driving performance to meet objectivesnnWhat are we looking for?As a Senior Electrical Engineer we would like to see:nnEvidence that you are technically astute in Electrical Services and safety and hold a relevant industry accredited qualificationnCSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimumnA desire to learn and develop within the role as training and progression will be provided.nnWe're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
