It's retirement, but not as the UK has known it.nRole PurposenThe Cluster Facilities Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all physical aspects across two of our retirement villages, Sunningdale Park in Ascot and Coopers Hill in Englefield Green. This includes overseeing the maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our owners.nThe Cluster Facilities Manager will have the support of a grounds and maintenance team across the two locations. Our owners quality of life and care depend upon the safe and exceptional standard of the facilities we provide, as well as the facilities within their home. The Cluster Facilities Manager is responsible for building an exceptional team, ensuring that they and their work meet the standards required by the owners on our sites and the business.nPrincipal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:nnSupervise and lead a team of maintenance and grounds team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.nCollaborate with other departments, such as operational management, leisure, housekeeping, reception, and sales to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.nDevelop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.nDay-to-day responsibility of all legislative controls, processes and procedures working closely with the General Manager, Senior General Manager, Group Health & Safety Manager and departmental staff.nConduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prioritise repairs.nGenerate, co-ordinate, and oversee preventative maintenance programs to prolong the life of assets and minimise disruptions to owners.nManage maintenance budgets and expenditures, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.nLiaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and oversee work performed on-site.nRespond promptly to maintenance emergencies and address owner concerns in a timely and professional manner.nCollaborate with other departments, such as operational management, leisure, housekeeping, and reception, to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders using maintenance management systems.nStay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance management to continuously improve operations and service delivery.nVisit each location on a frequency determined by the needs of each village.Ensuring time across both Villages, is managed effectively on a priority and strategic basis.nPrepare business presentations - share action plans with team members and owners where required (e.g. cyclical painting programs).nAvailable for emergency calls to assist colleagues as needed.nnKey Skills & Requirements:nnProven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or hospitality environment.nMulti/dual - site experience preferrednRelevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.nQualification within health and safety working practices -IOSH Managing SafelynStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.nExperience in managing budgets and controlling costs.nMaintenance planning and project management.nExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.nKnowledge of building regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.nProficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.nValid driver's license and reliable transportation.nFlexibility to respond to emergencies and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.nHave excellent all-round technical knowledge and experience of general trades.nPool plant operators knowledge preferable.nnIn Return You Will Receive:nnCompetitive salarynCompany pension scheme, with a 5% company contributionnHoliday allowance : 25 days plus 8 Bank holidaysn50% discount on food and drinks at all of our restaurants nationwidenGuest suites at staff rates at all of our luxury villages nationwidenExcellent learning and development opportunitiesnFree membership to our employee discount portal with access to discounts at all major retailers.nFree membership to our Healthcare Cash Plan SchemenRefer a friend bonus schemenFree uniform and a lot morenn#OMEnAudley Group is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
