Wellbeing and Engagement OfficerVANRATH are proud to be partnering with a respected public sector organisation to recruit aWellbeing and Engagement Officeron an initial3-month contractwith strong potential for extension.This role is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and compassionate wellbeing professional to join a high-impact team focused on enhancing employee wellbeing, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving meaningful engagement across a diverse, community-oriented workforce.The Role Reporting to the Organisation Development & Employee Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in:Supporting the delivery of the Wellbeing and Employee Engagement StrategyDesigning and implementing staff wellbeing initiatives and engagement programmesPromoting a culture of inclusion, recognition, and psychological safetyCoordinating internal communications to support employee connection and moraleSupporting elected member development and accreditation complianceAdvising on best practice wellbeing approaches, mental health awareness, and employee support resourcesDesigning, delivering, and evaluating engagement campaigns and wellbeing-related training interventionsThis is a dynamic role that will suit an individual with a background in wellbeing, employee engagement, HR, or organisational development, who thrives in a collaborative, public-facing environment.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:A relevant third-level qualification (Level 4 or above) in a HR, or health-related subjectMembership of the CIPD or a recognised wellbeing/engagement body (e.g., MHFA, IOSH, or equivalent)2+ years' experience in an Employee Wellbeing, Engagement, or OD/L&D roleProven experience with:Designing and delivering wellbeing and engagement programmesPlanning and executing internal communication strategiesSupporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiativesImplementing wellbeing frameworks and staff support interventionsWhat/'s On Offer:Competitive hourly rate of£20.66Immediate start withinitial 3-month contractOffice-based in the Greater Antrim Area , with occasional travel to other local sitesOpportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking team passionate about staff wellbeing and engagementInterested?
