Job DescriptionOpportunity: Workshop FitterContract: Permanent Location: LisburnThe Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Fitter/Engineer to join our supportive and friendly team in Lisburn. We are keen to see CV's from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors;forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.In this role you will be:Servicing and maintaining of diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipmentFault finding, completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucksEnsuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressedAdhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs EquipmentCompleting job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are orderedEnsuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of serviceWhat will help you to excel in this role: NVQ Level 3 or relevant technical qualificationPrevious experience within a similar roleGood understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principalsThe ability to work independently and under pressureThe ability to manage and prioritise workloadUnderstanding customer needsWhat you can expect from us:Competitive base salary from 30,036 to 34,157.
